GizzA Creations ~ Dolly Dress

I am overjoyed to be joining the team at GizzA Creations as a store model.  My favorite new release at GizzA Creations is this adorable "Dolly Dress,"  the Dolly Dress comes in some hot prints -- the lace on the arms, the lace socks and the cute little boots come included with any Dolly Dress you choose.  I'm wearing the Dolly Dresses with some of my favorite Starhelm Trading Company hats.  I finished off my outfits with some lovely chocolate pearls from Artistry by E.

Starhelm Hats

The Starhelm Trading Company has been around making fine victorian furnishings and steampunk decorative items for some time.  In the past Starhelm was known primarily for their beautifully crafted working time pieces.  With the recent invention of flyable, drivable nautical airships the Starhelm Trading Company has reached a new level of what they are able to accomplish.  As a professional 3D designer, the genius behind Starhelm Trading Company, Captain Alexis Sommerfeld prefers to use mesh when she is able.  Making the finest crafted mesh models on the grid, the Starhelm Trading Company has gained acclaim and attention by combining an artistic three dimensional approach to design with a keen understanding of  the medium itself,  creating whimsical and attractive technical accomplishments.

The Starhelm Trading Company has created a series of fine victorian hats, some flavored with steampunk accessories, like the Clockwork Hat pictured above.  Others like the Mad Hatter No. 1 hat pictured below show a playful spin on victorian fashion while the Somber Sommerfeld Hat pictured last retains a more classic look for those seeking historical accuracy.

In the words of the designer:

"What could be more civilized than the wearing of a hat? For delightful afternoon walks, tea at the Queen's, or in the pursuit of SCIENCE, our Victorian hats will suit any occasion!"

One of Second Life's best kept secrets is prim artist and jeweler, Endra Graves.   She is the creative genius behind Artistry by E.  excelling at fine jewelry with stunning and brilliant designs.  Join the Artistry by E. in world group for amazing group perks, as this generous artist loves to share her work with her supporters.

Below are two similar shots without any photoshop filter effects, these photographs were taken for me by Alexis Sommerfeld, owner and operator of Starhelm Trading Company.  I wanted to show the crystalline colorful clarity of the gems that Endra creates for Artisty by E.  I was amazed how this set matched both color variations of GizzA Creation's new formal wear gown, Draakje's Dream,  in Green and RedPurple.

Here is a preview of the newest formal gown from GizzA Creations, called Draakje's Dream.  I love this gown!! Draakje's Dream is stunning in both the green and the redpurple colors.  I plan to do some more full body shots in the next post, today was all about the jewelry but I had to share the screen grab below with you now.  These great photos were taken for me by Alexis Sommerfeld, owner and proprietor of the Starhelm Trading Company, I want to thank her for the great pics!

March 21, 2012 is World Down Syndrome Day and Prism is proud to be supporting the 4th Annual SL Buddy Walk! THIS IS A ONE DAY EVENT, BE SURE NOT TO MISS IT!

SL's 4th Annual Buddy Walk will feature a variety of vendors and live performers. Prism Furniture, which opens doors in two weeks, will be offering two exclusive items before the store's grand opening especially for this event.

Adele ~ Prism Does Mesh!

Prism Clothing Design's New Mesh Dresses are now available in 6 colors, modeled here in the "paris suede" color. I love the way they move with me. AO's are no problem as this dress moves naturally with my pacing, jumping, running, sitting, skipping, dancing and all the moves I make. To ensure it fits you realistically, the Adele dress gives you a few size options in the box, try them out to get a perfect fit. Like all of Prism's clothing, the fabric reads as real, now you can see Prism's beautifully rendered textures on mesh so it moves convincingly too.

To finish off this outfit, I wore it with matching Mesh shoes from Azoury. Its amazing to watch them move with you as you shift your weight from foot to foot. I'm so happy I can finally see and use mesh content. If you haven't already, its time to update to a Second Life viewer that is mesh enabled. Such incredible mesh content is now available, don't miss out!

The Airship Elara

The Airship Elara flies like a dream. Featuring easy to use HUD and simple Hotkey flight commands you can shift your speeds forward or in reverse, up or down coasting through the air. I enjoy being animated behind the Wheel while I take my friends on a tour, the Elara seats up to four passengers in addition to the pilot.

The Last few days I've taken the Airship Elara on some flights through open spaces and protected waters. It's been a pleasure test driving her. Trust me, if I can drive this thing, you will have no trouble-- it's simple to master and loads of fun. It fits into a crossover of genre's but remains firmly in the realm of steampunk, where its creator draws inspiration from SL's steamlands, like New Babbage, a multisim steampunk environment.
